Network Security Course in Ladakh
This track is about the plumbing: how traffic moves and how you control it. You configure firewall rules and NAT, segment a flat network into VLANs and zones, build site-to-site and remote VPNs, run an IDS, and read packet captures to prove what actually crossed the wire rather than what a log claims happened.

What this track will not do for you
Enterprises run Palo Alto, Fortinet and Cisco, and those vendors charge for both training and licences. We teach concepts on pfSense, Suricata and open tooling, and the logic transfers directly — but a firewall administrator role at a large bank or telco will still expect vendor-specific familiarity we cannot certify you in.
Who this is for
Best for network administrators, CCNA-level students, ISP and campus IT staff, and anyone paid to keep infrastructure running securely. Skip it if your interest is application or cloud security — this track stays at the network layer and does not cover web application testing or cloud identity at all.
Prerequisites: Solid TCP/IP: subnetting, routing basics, ports and protocols. CCNA-level knowledge is ideal but not compulsory. You will need a laptop that can run two or three virtual machines at once, because nearly every session is you building and then deliberately breaking a topology.
The picture in Ladakh
A small, high-altitude economy built on tourism, a substantial armed forces presence and subsistence agriculture. Leh runs guesthouses, homestays, trekking and motorcycle-tour operators and craft retail, while Kargil and Zanskar see far less traffic. Pashmina wool from Changthang herders, apricots, seabuckthorn products and solar projects make up the productive side. Almost everything else is trucked in over the passes.
A genuinely constrained environment. Bandwidth is limited, power is not always steady, and winter closes road access for months. Operators do most of their selling inside a short season and most of their correspondence over WhatsApp and email. The customer is always remote, researching from a metro or from abroad, and almost always booking well in advance.
