Three things, none of which relate to how close the building is. First, lab time: cyber security is a practical craft and a course that is mostly slides produces students who can recite definitions and cannot configure a firewall. Third, what you leave with: a portfolio of work you can show, not just a certificate. Most institutes compete on the certificate and the placement claim. The two courses and what they cover

It suits beginners, IT staff moving into security, and students. The ethical hacking course at ₹60,000 is the deeper practical track: reconnaissance, scanning and enumeration, exploitation, web application testing including the OWASP categories, privilege escalation, post-exploitation and report writing. Report writing is included deliberately, because in real work an unwritten finding is a finding nobody fixed.

You need a laptop capable of running a virtual machine comfortably, a stable internet connection and, realistically, eight to ten hours a week including self-study. No prior security background is needed for the foundation course; basic comfort with computers and a willingness to use the command line is enough. Batches are kept small so questions get answered.
