Cyber security institute near me

Cyber security training is delivered effectively online because the practical work happens in virtual labs, not in a physical classroom. What decides quality is lab access, instructor experience and how much of the course is hands-on. Cyber Defence teaches from Red Square Market, Hisar, Haryana 125001, with live online batches nationwide: cyber security ₹15,000, ethical hacking ₹60,000.

What actually makes a course worth paying for

Three things, none of which relate to how close the building is. First, lab time: cyber security is a practical craft and a course that is mostly slides produces students who can recite definitions and cannot configure a firewall. Second, the instructor — ask who teaches, what they have actually done, and whether they answer questions themselves. Third, what you leave with: a portfolio of work you can show, not just a certificate. Most institutes compete on the certificate and the placement claim. Ask instead to see the lab environment and one week of the syllabus in detail before paying anything.

Online, or Hisar classroom

We teach from one location, Red Square Market, Hisar, Haryana 125001. If you are in or near Hisar you can attend in person. Everyone else joins live online batches, which is how most of our students across India learn. Online is not the compromise option here: the tooling is identical, sessions are live rather than pre-recorded playback with no one to ask, and recordings remain available for revision. What online cannot replicate is the informal corridor conversation, so we compensate with a course community and direct access for questions rather than pretending the difference does not exist.

The two courses and what they cover

The cyber security course at ₹15,000 is the foundation: networking that actually sticks, operating system security on Linux and Windows, common attack classes and how they work, defensive configuration, log reading, and the basics of incident response. It suits beginners, IT staff moving into security, and students. The ethical hacking course at ₹60,000 is the deeper practical track: reconnaissance, scanning and enumeration, exploitation, web application testing including the OWASP categories, privilege escalation, post-exploitation and report writing. Report writing is included deliberately, because in real work an unwritten finding is a finding nobody fixed.

Who teaches, and what we do not claim

Amit Kumar, CEH and CRTA certified, teaches the courses and runs security work for clients, which means examples come from real engagements rather than textbooks. We do not promise placement, we do not quote a package figure, and we do not publish student salary claims we cannot evidence. What we do provide is the practical skill, a portfolio of lab work, guidance on the certifications worth pursuing next, and honest feedback on whether you are ready to apply. Anyone advertising guaranteed jobs is either charging for that guarantee somewhere in the fee or defining "placement" loosely enough to be meaningless.

Practicalities before you enrol

You need a laptop capable of running a virtual machine comfortably, a stable internet connection and, realistically, eight to ten hours a week including self-study. No prior security background is needed for the foundation course; basic comfort with computers and a willingness to use the command line is enough. Batches are kept small so questions get answered. Ask us for a syllabus and a sample session before you decide, and ask the same of every other institute you are considering — the ones that will not show you either have told you something useful.

Cyber security institute near me — FAQs

Is an online course as good as a classroom one?

For cyber security, in practice yes. The practical work happens in virtual machines and lab environments that are identical either way. The real variables are whether sessions are live, whether you can ask questions directly, and how much lab time you get — none of which depend on the room.

What are the fees?

The cyber security course is ₹15,000 and the ethical hacking course is ₹60,000. Those are the full course fees. The ethical hacking course costs more because it is substantially longer, lab-heavy and taught in small batches.

Kya isse job lag jayegi?

Hum job ki guarantee nahi dete — jo institute dete hain, unse fees ka breakup poochhiye. Course se aapko practical skill, lab ka portfolio aur interview ke liye tayari milti hai. Job aapki mehnet, practice aur applications par depend karti hai, sirf certificate par nahi.

Do I need a technical background to start?

Not for the foundation course. Comfort with a computer and willingness to work in a terminal is enough; the networking and Linux you need are taught. The ethical hacking course assumes you already have those fundamentals, either from our first course or from experience.

Can I visit before enrolling?

If you are near Hisar, yes — the office is at Red Square Market, Hisar, Haryana 125001. If you are elsewhere, ask for a call with the instructor and a walkthrough of the syllabus and lab setup. That tells you more than a visit would anyway.
