Why this matters in Ladakh
A small, high-altitude economy built on tourism, a substantial armed forces presence and subsistence agriculture. Leh runs guesthouses, homestays, trekking and motorcycle-tour operators and craft retail, while Kargil and Zanskar see far less traffic. Volume spikes months ahead of the season. Answering the practical questions properly, on permits, acclimatisation and road opening dates, is what earns both rankings and citations in AI travel answers.
Operators need itinerary pages with fixed departure dates, advance deposit collection, permit checklists and an honest altitude and safety section. Homestays need booking that still works when the host is offline for a day. Pages must be extremely light and cache well, because both the host and many visitors are on poor connections.
